
The International Blind Football Foundation is delighted to announce that it will hold the 3rd Global Leadership Camp for Visually Impaired people this coming March in Tokyo, Japan.
The goal of this Global Leadership Camp for Visually Impaired people is to improve and foster change in the social environment surrounding visually impaired people in each country by identifying and developing future leaders among the visually impaired population.
The 3rd Global Leadership Camp for Visually Impaired people will take place in Tokyo from March 13th to 19th.
In order to be considered for participation, candidates must complete the attached application form and return it to IBF Foundation at info@ibf-foundation.football by 12:00 pm in GMT on 22nd January 2026. Detailed criteria for participation are set out in the information document also attached.
Candidates who submit a full application, meet all the criteria and are selected for the second stage of the application process will be asked to attend an on-line interview before final selection. Also, participation is free of charge and IBF Foundation will cover the cost of flights to and from Tokyo in economy class, accommodation and meals while in Tokyo, and local transport in Tokyo.
During the recruitment process for the camp, IBF Foundation will seek to achieve gender balance, a fair geographical spread of candidates representing all regions, and a mix of totally blind and partially sighted participants.
